Hello blog and blog readers (if there are). My apologies for being away for so long. Was busy with other stuff. I think i'll blog once a month instead.

June Holidays:
O Level English Seminar (which was super boring). Class Study Camp. Bangkok. Aviva Open 2009. Movie (Terminator Salvation, Dance Subaru & Transformers 2)/Lunch/Dinner with some of my friends (on different days). And lastly, i studied at odd timing like from 10pm to 3am or sometimes, 5am? Okay, maybe to some is not odd. But to me, it's odd because i don't usually do that on a school holiday. And i also wake up at odd timing like 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Heehee. So yeah, that was a summary of what i did during the june holidays.

First Week Of School:
It was great to be back in school despite the h1n1 virus thing and despite having to wake up early. It was really great seeing my classmates/schoolmates again. Somehow, i feel really happy whenever i see them (though i don't like some of them). But the social studies test that i had on the first day of school after june holidays ended was a killer. I really really REALLY don't like combined humanities. Argh.

Okay, i'm going off for dear sarah lim's birthday party now. So, goodbye.

I Caught Myself... Surprised.

My 17th birthday party last Saturday was simply great. Love the food, the presents (heehee), and i so love the company! The presents i received really surprised me. Almost everything i received were the things i wanted so badly. And the presents were not the only ones that surprised me. The people who contributed in them also surprised me too - the name of someone who doesn't usually buy birthday presents for people suddenly pops up in a sentence "This present is contributed by..." and the name of someone whom i didn't invite for the party suddenly appears in a birthday card.

This party has left me thinking about a lot of what ifs. Like what if i didn't have all these people around me? What if i never met anyone like them? What will happen to me? Who will i be then?

But in actual fact, i've already got them revolving around my world. These people are God-sent and i'm ever so grateful for them. As much as God sees them as His precious children (that includes the adults), i see them as friends and family members who are ever so dear to me and that i'll never ever want to drift away from any of them. Presence is more than just being there.

The party was simply great! Love the company, love the presents (duh..), love the food (though it was wasn't enough). Thank God for the good weather, for everything. Oh, and thank God for giving me the courage to say what i wanted to say in front of the many people who were there.

17th May 2009, Sunday:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF. (:
A big thank you to everyone who wished me through text messaging, email, facebook, msn or call. And once again, a big thank you to those who came for the party and for the lovely lovely lovelyyy presents. I really love them because i was caught by surprise as most of the stuff you all gave me were the stuff i wanted and i didn't tell you all what i wanted! So, thank you very very very much! But of course, i love you all more than i love the presents. (:

I just thank You for creating me. I thank You so much for bringing me into this beautiful (but sometimes crazy) world. Yesterday was really fun. The lunch with krystal was hilarious. Taking the flyer with them was simply just so nice. And the things we did after leaving the flyer was... enjoyable. So it was really great having them with me yesterday. But it wasn't THAT great when i was on my way home. Don't want to talk about it anymore, it's over anyway. But just be careful when you're alone at night. Haha.

Pilot Pen match against mjc was a waste. But oh well, it was still a great game. Service learning at the children's society (sunbeam place) was great, though i was there for like what, a day and a half only? And it was really fun getting to know some of them. I really wish them all the best in whatever they do and i hope they will grow up to be good young men and young women in future. Lord, wherever they may go, i hope You'll keep them safe, always. And i learnt one thing from there - No matter how bad my child turn out to be in future, i will never ever throw them there. It's too cruel to do that. And to throw them there, will be my last last LAST resort. Okay anyway, we sent the guys off to india last wednesday after service learning. Fun time in the train eh. And oh, we had popeye's for dinner! And talking about the guys, i kind of miss them now.. Okay, i'm done updating my blog. Going to sleep now. Goodbye earthlings.

The zonals' finally over. We got fourth for south zone. COULD HAVE gotten third, but well, fourth is enough for me. I really thank God for that fourth position. How about you? And i think everyone should watching Facing The Giants, it's so touching. Anyway, ryan's birthday party last night was good though the rain keeps coming back and forth. Jingxia, sarah and stella came along after training for the party and to watch slumdog millionaire. That movie really deserves those awards man. Everything about that show's so good - the music, the storyline, EVERYTHING. So, if you haven't watch slumdog millionaire, go watch it soon! Okay, i think that's about it. The rain's tempting me to skip school tomorrow, BUT i shall not give in to temptations. Till then, earthlings.

Went to watch the curious case of benjamin button after school today. It was not that bad. A lot of things you can learn from the show, though it's like 3 hours long. Haha. It talks mainly about life.

We are finally done with the first round of zonals and... WE GOT INTO TOP 4! YAY! Go team fairfield! The next round's starting next week, i am so looking forward to it man. Anyway, went to watch bride wars with jingxia and cheryl. It was a great time hanging out with them, especially with cheryl (whom i don't really go out with often).

Sometimes in life, there really are bonds formed that can never be broken. Sometimes you really can find that one person who will stand by you no matter what. Maybe you'll find it in a spouse and celebrate it with your dream wedding. Today marks the start of south zone. First game was against crescent girls'. Was able to win them with a total score of 4-1. Zhonghua Secondary School's indoor sports hall's flooring is so slippery. I'm pretty sure someone's going to get injured someday if the flooring continues to be as slippery as today's. This wednesday will be the next match against kent ridge. May the best team win.

Friday, 23/01/09:
Ethnic celebration was so-so. It was quite boring at some point in time. But when 5A came out, i was hyped up. I love 3F/4F/5A! Went to watch inkheart a few hours after that with some of the guys and girls. What a "deep fantasy" this movie is. Had dinner at breeks and home it was after that. It was really a great gathering with some of my classmates before the chinese new year. It was like a reunion dinner with them.

Today, 26/01/09:
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! As usual, the first day of chinese new year will always be spent at my grandma's house. Watched tv, talked, used the laptop, eat eat eat, take photos and... "lou yu shang". Though it was still the same things that we always do at my grandma's house every year, it was still great meeting up with my relatives; a really great way of gathering everyone together. But i heard about a bad news about one of my cousin.. not going to talk about it though. SECRET. (:

okay, this might be a little late. but... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! i spent the new year eve and new year day outside. first was having dinner with my mum and dad. second was to go to cheeky chocolates with jingxia and her cousin to visit ellyn. third was to meet patten and daniel at vivo city to see the fireworks. we were actually late but we saw the fireworks in the cab though. it was quite a funny scene in the cab. haha. and last but not least, we took a train down to the cathay to watch ip-man. the show was nice. after that was home sweet home.

today was the first day of school. it was very boring because there were a lot of talks here and there.. but thankfully, i had friends around that made my whole day fun. that's all i can say about today, nothing much to talk about. heh. i'm just looking forward to south zone, top 4 top 4! then after south zone, i'll "look forward" to the major examination - O LEVELS. i really hope i'll do well for every subject..

last thursday & friday:
class chalet at aloha changi (thursday) and class outing at east coast park (friday). two words to describe class chalet - very fun. it was kind of scary in the night though, because some of them were talking about the old changi hospital. heh. but overall, it was still fun. some of us went to east coast park to cycle after leaving the chalet. it was just as fun. i think it would have been more fun if we weren't that tired. haha. i fell asleep straight after i reached home, only to find myself waking up the next morning (or should i say early afternoon). haha.

this week's going to be filled up with...
amath lessons, trainings and parties (kimberly's & kunming's). i hope i'll have fun.. heh.

sorry for the long break. i didn't have anything to talk about, so decided not to update my blog. heh.

last friday was the last day of school, so we had our class party in school for 2 hours or so. and i think everyone in my class has a hidden talent, that is to know how to cook some very good food. seriously, the food that they brought were very delicious man. i'm pretty sure you'll want to go for a second round if you were there. i love 4F a lot a lot a lot, not the class itself, but the people in the class. then in the night... had dinner at black angus with six cool girl friends - abigail, jingxia, michelle, cheryl, swenn and melanie. though the food was just so-so, but the company was just simply great.

the team was invited over to huda's house for lunch in celebration of hari raya (i think) yesterday. food was yummy, especially the sotong balls. and for the first time, i tried eating something called tulang/tulung. the thing that you got to suck out from the hole of the bone is... yucky. but malays claim that it's the best part of the bone marrow to eat and it's good for your complexion. haha. but well, it's a new type of food to try. but i doubt i'll try it again, heh.

YESTERDAY:
school was as per normal. had chemistry test in which i found it quite difficult. i'm sure i'll fail for the test this time. anyway, went to have lunch at suki sushi after school. then rushed back to school at 5 to attend our school's 120th founder's day celebration. the celebration was filled with fun, laughter and joy (our school's funfair slogan). the best and the most unique founder's day celebration i ever had. went to west coast park's macs for supper after that. home it was later.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I really thank You for this school, this wonderful school. I thank You that You've been blessing and guiding Fairfield for the past 120 years. 3rd july, thursday:
didn't have to date my books for the whole day. the whole school was busy preparing for the funfair instead. but i still had my chinese o level oral after school. everyone of us were scared and nervous, including myself. but everything that made me scared/nervous went away after greeting the two teachers. they were nice and friendly, thank God. reading was so-so, didn't know how to read some words. conversational was alright i guess, it was on youth olympics. was able to speak out, more than usual actually. went home after that.

4th july, friday:
last day of funfair preparation. i think for once or rather, twice, the school's so noisy, all because of the funfair. haha. cabbed down to blue horizon for amath tuition with michelle in the late afternoon. didn't really listening to what my tutor was teaching, cause i was very very tired. heh. then went to michelle's house after tuition to wait for my mum to pick me up. we continued watching memoirs of a geisha while waiting. when my mum came to pick me up, she told me something i didn't expect to happen - my nanny passed away that morning. i turned into silent mode for the whole night after hearing that big bad news. my nanny you know! she's only 62 this year and she went away so suddenly. and so, went back to bathe, have dinner then went for the funeral wake after that. stayed there till 3 plus in the morning.

5th july, saturday:
CARNIVAL@FAIRFIELD 2008. slept for awhile, and went to school at 7. the funfair was overall alright i guess. it was tiring walking here and there though, my legs were aching. walked home with patten, aileen, marcus lim and glenn after the funfair. then went out for dinner with my family and went to the funeral wake again after that. oh, thank you for those who tried to cheer me up. i'll be better in time.

I never knew i could hurt like this.

finally wee kim wee's over. and guess what, for the first time, we got fourth (though the last). it's really a great achievement for all of us cause honestly speaking, it's not easy to achieve this unless you work hard for it. and we did work hard for this. so great job to all of you/us. and a special thank you to those who supported us. and a BIG BIG thank you to coach and miss thio for coming down for almost every match to support us, to watch us play. i don't think we'll be able to get into top four, if it wasn't for you two who kept pushing us, encouraging us. and oh, thank you miss thio for treating us two meals at burger king. haha.

kunming 2008 bbq was alright i guess. the starting was not so good (but well, it's over), but when patten came, it was better. bbq-ed, played tennis, cycled and talked. then good night.

20/6/08, FRIDAY:

met up with group 2 at wheelock. was suppose to have dinner at wheelock's fish&co, but it was under renovation. so we walked to paragon for fish&co. went to watch "penelope" after that at cineleisure. the movie's quite funny, but a little scary when the witch or whatever it is, comes out. home it was at 1 plus after that. it was a fun but tiring day (due to wee kim wee).

and TODAY, marks the end of my june holidays. the holidays has been a month of fun but yet again, a month of tiredness too. service learning, wee kim wee, trainings, homework. all these sums up what i've been doing for the whole month. and when the clock strikes 6am tomorrow morning, i'll say goodbye june holidays and hello school, books, teachers.

second match for wee kim wee today was against tkgs. and guess what, WE WON! it was really a/an "expect the unexpected" thing. we didn't think we could win that actually. but well, sometimes miracles do happen. so, thank God for this victory and i pray that we'll play our best for next tuesday's game against dunman high. tough, but at least try. took a train down to the indoor stadium to watch the aviva open. patten came along this time. the last match for the day was the funniest man, haha. had supper at east coast park after that. and home it was later. pictures, SOON. good night for now.

our first wee kim wee match for this year started yesterday, and we won bukit batok! we were kind of overjoyed, cause we didn't expect ourselves to win them. and to patricia, it's okay if you lost. the experience still counts. after that, miss thio treated all of us to burger king. she's such a kind lady with a cute hairstyle, like seriously. haha. watching the aviva open was next till 10 plus, then supper at kfc (fat) and home it was after that.

TODAY:
it was such a terrible day. i vomited after doing the agility drills. it was eew and yucky! plus, i had cramps. i'm not going to elaborate further. but a big THANK YOU to sarah and jingxia, who carried me out of the toilet to the staff room. also, a big THANK YOU to miss thio and zhijun for taking care of me in the staff room, massaging my legs. it was really good that i fell asleep straight away. haha. cabbed home to have a sumptuous lunch (thanks to sarah who called my mum who asked my maid to prepare a lot of food for me) in which i didn't finish them all. haha. then went back to school for an hour of training, then to ij for another training and later to tampines for another training. cabbed to queensway after training to restring my racket and here i am.

i'm kind of lazy to tell you earthlings what i did in china, so i'll just let the pictures do the talking. i hope you earthlings don't mind. okay, maybe i should summarise what i did in china. teaching the children was tough cause they were so enthusiastic (unlike us) and so noisy, but it was still such a joy teaching them. i taught the primary 5 class. they're all so smart, i love and miss them so much! hard labour like cleaning up and painting the classrooms and washing the toilets were.. dirty and kind of eew. but phew, i got through it all. haha. and last but not least, SHOPPING. shopping was good and relaxing man. spent all the money i had. leaving china, specifically kunming, was really a sad thing throughout the whole plane ride. but well, all good things have to come to an end right? but no matter what, they'll always be pictures in my head. i'll never ever forget anyone of them. they've blessed me with things i don't have and they've taught me so much more than i've tuaght them. though i know they won't be able to see this message, but i just want to say XIE XIE NI MEN (thank you all) for teaching me things i can't learn in school and blessing me with things i can't have here. okay, picturesss..

had my 16th birthday party last night. it was great, overall. well, though there were some awkward and embarrassing scenes in the midst of the party, i still enjoyed myself. and i hope everyone else enjoyed themselves. i still can't forgive my brother for pushing me off the bridge into the swimming pool. thank God my heart was strong enough to survive this shock, haha. cheryl, abigail, huda and jingxia stayed over at my house after the party. we took a cab down to prata house for supper in the middle of the night. we didn't get to take pictures in the middle of the road though, haha. we talked and laughed damn loudly when we came back. huda and jingxia were the craziest, mad women. haha. everyone were in their la la land by 5, i guess. haha. you can never imagine how we, 5 person, slept in my room. two squeezed onto the bed i have below my own bed. and the other three slept on my own bed vertically, leaving our legs dangling. we were all sleeping like big fat elfs lah, haha. mum dropped them off at school's bus stop the next day (afternoon). another time for pictures, heh. and oh, thank you to all who came for the party, gave me presents, sent me text messages or gave me a "happy birthday call". haha. went out with abigail, jingxia, krystal and ellyn last night. it was kind of nice hanging out with them (as in krystal and ellyn) though we had some quiet times. haha. we had dinner at pastamania (cineleisure) and we talked for a little while there. after that, we went walking around the streets of singapore's shopping district. cabbed home with abigail and krystal after that. the sad thing is that fat bobby didn't come out and so i didn't see him. haha. but anyway, went to bed straight after i reached home cause i was very very tired. received numerous text messages while i was in my lala land, but i didn't bother to read it till this morning. haha, too tired you see. but well, last night was a night worth remembering and that we could all replay the scenes that happened again and again in our heads everyday.

didn't go to school today and last monday because i hurt my back last thursday while having training. and yes, i did go to school yesterday WITHOUT my painkillers. hence, i had to bear the pain without people noticing it and that's why i went home straight after school (for my painkillers). for those who think i skipped school (on monday and today), let me tell you, i didn't. if i did skip school, i'll tell you i did. i really will cause what's there to lie about skipping school right? but i didn't skip school. if you were to suffer the pain i have now (not that it's very painful now) or had, maybe you'll understand better as to why i didn't go to school on monday but tried to survive in school on tuesday and disappeared again on wednesday. honestly speaking, it's kind of sad that you thought i skipped school (though that thought was for a few minutes excluding the thought in school). okay, i'm done ranting. thank you to the creator of online blogging, that i'm much more relax now.

if you were to ask me about my results, i'll just give you one word to describe everything. that one word is DISAPPOINTED. although i studied real hard for the mid years, i still couldn't pass with flying colours. so yeah, i was disappointed. but i'm fine now, haha. thank God for my parents who are so understanding and forgiving. they didn't even scold me a bit. and still, i thank God for these results.

okay, let's talk about last wednesday, thursday and yesterday. went to singapore poly last wednesday with the whole class for chemistry@work. the workshop/course is so fun. we were able to make our own perfume and our own paper weight. just the suitable gifts for the upcoming mother's and father's day. haha. mum picked me up after that.

then had training after school on thursday at temasek club. the taxi driver was so funny. "you all are so noisy, later police come and catch you all", he said that in chinese to us. so funny. and i hurt my back during training, because we did the arching thing. and till now, it's still painful. heh.

and we played captains' ball after school yesterday till evening. it was quite fun but yet at the same time, messy due to the many people playing, and hence, dangerous. overall, it's still fun. but the playing also worsen my back pain, heh. anyway, went home to celebrate nicole's birthday after playing captains' ball. so yeah, the fun stuff i did for the past three days. haha.

and oh! i had a very good and beautiful dream last night/this morning. i still can remember everything, i don't want to forget this dream. beautiful dreams don't come by often you know. (:

the mid year examination started today. chinese paper 1-3 was today/first. paper 1 was alright, but i think i wrote a little out of point for both sections. paper 2 was so-so. and paper 3 was tricky. but whatever it is, since it's over already, i'm just going to leave it all to God to grant me the results i deserve. and thank God that He gave me ample time to finish up all three papers.

went to my malay cousins' family gathering (yes, i do have malay cousins) after dinner just now. they had to book every bbq pit (3 pits and 2 pavilions in total) downstairs their flat in order to fit everyone in. can you imagine how big the family gathering was? it took up the whole small park plus the whole playground you know. haha. after chatting with the cousins for awhile, the younger ones decided to go up and play rock band. it was damn fun AND funny. the way sean hits the drums are like hitting ants. haha! home it was after that. it really makes me feel very happy when such family gatherings are being organised. i feel the warmth, i feel the love, i feel everything good inside of me. though we're of different race, we're still one big family. i just hope we'll never forget one another. i feel like i'm writing an essay. haha.

yesterday's planetshakers/tim hughes concert was awesome man! went with sarah, abigail, jingxia, cheryl, sean and patten. we sang our hearts out and jumped till we were panting. actually jingxia and i jumped only for the last two or three songs. haha. after the concert, we took a cab to prata house for supper. gerald (my brother) came to drive all of us home after that. home it was at 2 plus.

just yesterday, the march holidays ended. and today will mark the first day of back to dating books. the march holidays can be marked under satisfactory because time was managed properly and hence, i had enough time to do whatever i want/need to do and had enough rest. today, being the first day of school after the march holidays, started off well. but the social studies test after school killed me man. i'm sure i'll fail for it, heh. and training after that was great. it allowed me to burn all those calories and fats that grew over the march holidays. haha. home it was after that. okay, i'm gonna go back to doing my homework. bye for now earthlings.

was having a worried mind the whole day because one of JI's members has escaped from the detention centre in singapore. i bet you must be thinking, "how can it be in singapore?". but yes, it is true that he escaped from singapore's detention centre. i just hope he'll be caught soon and that he'll not harm anyone or worse still, my country. anyway, had training after school. went over to dover with stella, jingxia and abigail after that for dinner. i'm too lazy to elaborate what happened at dover, but it was sure a fun night. all those laughter took away all the worrying and all those "what if(s)" off my mind, for awhile. so thank you three. if you want to know what we did, read stella's blog. jingxia's mum drove us back home after that. it was back to dating the chemistry textbook when i reached home.

had our last south zone badminton match for this year. played against holy innocents', won 5-0. and the games played by scgs and rgs were very exciting. the whole badminton hall was filled with enthusiasm from both schools. but i must say the umpires had a hard time saying out the score, they should have a loudspeaker or a mike in future to say out the score. haha.

took a cab down to zhonghua secondary school with jingxia, abigail and huda to support the chij toa payoh girls and to also watch other schools' matches. chij toa payoh lost to rgs with an overall score of 1-4. regina won her match. but nice try! after that, we cabbed down to thomson plaza with regina and dayna to have dinner there - pizza hut. home it was after that. the bus ride was very long i must say.

thursday, 21 february 2008:
had emath, physics and social studies test. no comments about it. all i just hope for is that i'll pass these three tests. the word "hope" and "faith" is still hanging in there. training after school was fun, especially the physical part. cousins came over for dinner. i don't really know why they came, but i think it's because it's the last day of chinese new year. heh.

today, 22 february 2008:
had english composition and amath test. again, i just hope i'll pass both. in fact, i hope i'll pass all five tests i had this week. was a little frustrated during training, thanks to the type of badminton sports hall clementi has. i wonder who designed the clementi sports hall, such a lousy designer. went to queensway to see the ashaway pink racket after training. home it was after that.

total defence day was today. i found the fire drill thing stupid. heh. anyway, fairfield vs. scgs. lost with an overall score of 0-5. that was the end of our dream of going into top 4 for south zone. it was really a very saddening moment for all of us, but everyone was starting to smile and laugh when we reached serene centre. had macs for dinner, and island creamery for dessert. krystal and ellyn joined us too.

abigail got baptized today, so congratulations abi! anyway, the team, regina, dayna and kit yee came over in the late afternoon for dinner (steamboat). we gambled too, heh. it wasn't that fun actually. was kind of moody, bored and tired. but when almost everyone left, leaving jingxia, huda, regina and dayna with me, it became fun. we started gambling again, then talked for awhile. then later on, decided to go to prata house for supper. it was around 2 plus in the morning when we took a cab there. while waiting for cabs, we took pictures in the middle of the road. kind of scary though, but it was really fun. haha. after having our supper, we parted from there. jingxia and huda followed me back home to stay over. so maybe the phrase "the more the merrier" wasn't that true. i don't know, i found it more fun in smaller groups. really. but thanks to everybody who came. sorry for being so moody, bored and tired in the earlier part of the day. pictures up another day.

yesterday's steamboat at michelle's house/rooftop was great. for the first time, i gambled and i won some money. poor ron and swenn, from rich to poor. haha! jingxia has a funny daddy who sent us home after everything was over.

yesterday:
was invited for dinner at my dad's sister's house. another day of steamboat and the first day of boring-ness during chinese new year. in fact, it's always boring whenever i visit them. heh. anyway, no pictures taken.

today:
all the relatives of my father's side came over, including the ones i met yesterday. again, it was boring. stayed in my room for the whole time watching gossip girl. but after lunch (steamboat again), i decided to join the rest for training. mum fetched me home after training. got home, bathed, had steamboat for dinner (again..), then back to gossip girl. and i counted, i had steamboat six times this week. and i'm going to have another one tomorrow over at michelle's house and another one next saturday at my place. i'm getting sick of steamboat now. haha. oh, no pictures taken today too. anyway, i'm going back to watch gossip girl. bye for now.

got back three test papers - amath, chemistry and physics. failed amath (by 1 mark) and chemistry (by 2 marks). although i failed, i didn't feel upset. i didn't feel upset not because i only failed by one or two marks, but it's the people around me that indirectly doesn't allow me to feel upset even though i failed. like for amath, even though i failed i didn't feel upset because when i see my other classmates improving, passing their test, i feel really very happy for them. and when i felt happy for them, all those unhappiness that i'm supposed to feel wasn't there anymore. see how smart God can be. He used friends of mine to cheer me up, from a unhappy face to a smiley face. and i'm so happy for my physics test. for the first time, i got a distinction for a physics test. it's the highest score i ever had for physics. keep it up jeanette! and thanks to somebody who taught me the day before the test. today's chinese test was such a headache, but i'm just going to commit the paper into God's hands. whatever the result may be, i'll still thank You for it. reunion dinner later in the night at home. and i can't wait till tomorrow! i'll be able to see sean and brandon. and of course, red packetsss. haha.

won queenstown with an overall score of 5-0 yesterday. and we're officially in top 8! but there are many hurdles in front of us. first game on the 13th february against rgs, 15th against scgs and 18th against holy innocents'. our aim is to beat rgs and holy innocents in order to get into top 4. we'll reach our goal, hopefully. heh.

like i said in the previous post that yesterday's match against cedar was the crucial match. guess what, WE WON! yesterday afternoon can be said as the happiest moment for this year for me and the other b div girls. we won with an overall score of 3-2. good game girls! you all played well, even those who didn't get the point for the team. next monday's against queenstown. we're aiming for 5-0. so do your best girls! didn't go to school today cause whenever i stand up, i'll feel giddy. but since i'm able to blog now, you should know that i'm fine already. hah. and so, we lost yesterday (1-4). only jingxia won her match. but i seriously disagree with what coach said yesterday. he indirectly said that we didn't do our best when he wasn't even there to watch most of us play. to me, everyone played their best. i could really see everyone putting in their whole effort into the game. so good job girls! and yes, there were mistakes made. but who don't make mistakes right? as long as you don't make that same old mistake again, then it's fine. so to all b div girls, don't bother about what coach said cause for the first time, he said something wrong. and we ought to be angry with him for awhile, but do forgive him soon yeah. i just hope he knows whatever he said to us yesterday was wrong.. tomorrow's the crucial match against cedar. so once again, play your best girls! don't give up, it's not over yet. and to all our supporters, a big thank you to each and everyone of you for coming down to support us yesterday. we were losing but still you all stayed to watch every match. so THANK YOU! oh, i almost forget to type this out - ang mo kio doesn't have something we have. we have unity, full support of the school and of course, our Heavenly Father. yeah, that's something they lack.

tomorrow's the start of the badminton tournament. against ang mo kio tomorrow, cedar on wednesday and queenstown on the following monday. ang mo kio's a strong school, but that doesn't mean we can't win them. so to all b div girls, we'll play our best tomorrow and for the rest of the tournament days as well. this is a quote from one tree hill: "There comes a time when every life goes off course. I pray that every umpire and linesman will judge every game fairly Lord, and that no one will be bias or whatsoever. today's chapel was very good. sermon was the best. school invited a 12-year-old girl named ritchell to come to speak to us. though she's blind, she still can play the piano and sing very well. she concluded her speech by saying this, "do not be proud of the talent you got, but be proud of who gave you that talent". i'll always remember that quote, you remember it too. anyway, audrey's chinese composition was read out during chinese lesson. it was a very good and touching piece of writing man. i bet no express or special student can write like her. she's really good at expressing herself man. so today has taught me a lot of stuff, during chapel and during chinese lesson. it was indeed a lesson learnt for many of us.

badminton trials for secondary ones. we only got one or two girls, pathetic.
cheryl and abigail came over for i don't know what reason. but yeah, they just came over for fun, had dinner then went back at around 10.

thursday, 10/1/08:

had a surprise birthday party for michelle and cheryl. the party was successful, both were surprised. mission accomplished! great job everyone who helped plan and acted, haha. abigail, jingxia and i stayed till late at night and even thought of staying over. haha. anyway, we had steamboat for dinner then went up to michelle's room to play, talk, and take pictures. we headed home at around 10.

today, 11/1/08:

coach was pms-ing at the last hour of training today. don't know what got into him man. ah, but whatever. oh, we're playing against cedar, queenstown and ang mo kio for south zone. i just hope we'll be able to win cedar and queenstown so that we can get into the next round. i don't want this to be a wishful thinking.

studies: do well in all subjects especially chinese and emath (since i'm taking these two papers this year's o levels)
and NEVER to drift away from my Heavenly Father and my Mighty Savior

i know i was suppose to put up my new years resolution on new year's day, but i was out the whole day shopping, dinner, and then i went to the airport to send ethel, aunty edith and gillian off to london. reached home around midnight, then went to bed as i had school (first day some more) the next morning. so it took up the whole of my new year's day, and i was too tired by the time i came back, to put up my new years resolution. heh. anyway, my first day of school was quite okay. i was happy to see my schoolmates again, happy with the subject teachers i got. but what made half of the day boring was the three talks that we had in the hall. haha. had lunch at ikea after school with abigail and michelle. we went to michelle's house to complete our holiday homework after that. and home it was later in the night. today being the second day of school was also alright, no homework yet. and the weather was chilly, so it some kind of allowed me to study better. i was kind of cold though. haha. had training after school at clementi. then went straight home after training. i didn't really like today's training because coach wasn't there.

i actually have one more new years resolution, that is to get over you.

the year is coming to an end after today which means we'll have a new year, year 2008. so i'm going to take this time not to summarise what has happened this whole year, but to answer the question that has got me thinking from the day i watched "the game plan".

what's the best thing that has happened to me? but i not only have one best thing, so it will be "what are the best things that have happened to me?" notice the changes. so here it goes..

all these may be simple answers that i've given. but seriously and honestly speaking, i'll die without them. sounds exaggerating, but it's the truth.

MARIA SHARAPOVA LIVE:

sorry if the photos are blurry, heh. and so i got jingxia to go with me to the indoor stadium to watch maria sharapova's exhibition game against anna chakvetadze just now. you guys must be asking where did i get the two tickets from right, and besides it's a $180 ticket for one? here's the answer: my uncle gave it to me. so yeah, i was really lucky to be able to watch a tennis match LIVE for once. plus, it's maria sharapova playing. i hope a male tennis player will have an exhibition too, then maybe i'll be able to watch a men's singles live. haha. one thing i didn't like among the audience was the kept criticising both players (depends on who they support). and two guys were daring enough to say this.

like wth.. but the match itself was alright, sharapova won of course. but it was a close fight in the second set if you can see from the score board above. the tie break that they had was so damn exciting man. haha. home it was after the match, mum fetched. a great night at the indoor stadium despite all the criticisms here and there.

went to imm's swensen's for huda's birthday dinner with huda, huda's mum, abigail, stella and jingxia. huda's mum treated all of us, she's such a nice lady. after dinner, all of us except for huda's mum and jingxia, took a train down to jurong point to watch "i am legend". to me, it's not nice and it can be boring at times. plus, the movie was so scary with the sound effects all switched on to the highest volume. i was covering my eyes and ears most of the time, haha. and everytime there's a shocking scene, i'll jump out of my seat. okay not exactly jumped out, but i moved a little. heh. home sweet home after the movie. i'm gonna head to bed now, so good night. and good morning or good afternoon to the other side of the earth.

woke up with a bad headache, thanks to the many cups of wine and beer i drank last night. heh.
christmas lunch at dad's sister's house. i feel loved everytime i walk into her house. cause everyone will automatically come and hug you and say something. i can really feel the warmth in that big family.
had dinner at home cause my big brother was at our place.
then went over to uncle raymond's house after dinner for their christmas party, in which i stayed there for an hour only. i drank there again, heh.

i've been eating a lot of meat for the past two days, like omg lah. got to cut down from tomorrow onwards. and talking about tomorrow onwards. i'm going to start finishing up every homework i left undone from tomorrow onwards too. well, i'll try at least. heh. and oh, to those who think i'm an alcoholic at my age, i'm not. i just drink on special occasions like christmas.
